How To Treat Jock Itch

Jock itch, also known as tinea cruris, is a fungal infection that primarily affects a man's groin area. Jock itch usually appears as a very red rash which is very itchy. In some cases, blisters may appear on the edges. Jock itch typically starts in the folds of the groin and spreads down the inner thigh. It does not affect the scrotum as many believe. Itching or pruritis of the scrotum is usually caused by a yeast infection or food allergies.
